Howdy Oppos! It’s been a long time since we’ve played Gran Turismo 6 together. How about two sessions of Gran Turismo 6 while the real Le Mans takes place? Room is now up (got ready early) and racing begins in one hour!

The first 24 minute race will consist of cars listed in GT6's Recommended Cars for Le Mans. Any car can be chosen, regardless of who else is driving it. The cars must be from model years 2010 and up. If two other players are already driving a certain car, please try to pick another one! Variety is desired. Cars in this category will be capped to 730 PP (can be changed if needed).

The second 24 minute race will consist of GT cars. Since GT6 lacks support for this category, you can either use a car that is already in GT-spec or purchase any street spec car that has a GT-spec counterpart and upgrade it to a cap of 650 PP. This can include cars like the 458 Italia, RUFs, etc.

To participate in GT6 online, you at least need to complete all of the National B Category.

The room lobby will open on June 18, 2016 at 10pm Eastern, 9PM Central. The actual race will be scheduled to begin at 10:30pm est/9:30pm cst. It will be viewable to friends only and can be found under the name “48 Minutes of Oppositelock”. My PSN is Blunion05. Please add me if I am not already on your list! This will help when searching for friends who are in rooms already.

To avoid losing valuable time, please choose your desired cars for each race ahead of time. There will be a five to ten minute break between the two races so that players have time to take a break and change cars.

As a note, the room may have voice chat disabled and for anybody interested can join the hangout that a couple of us and I will be participating in. All you’ll need is a gmail address to receive the invite!

If you don’t have enough cash to purchase these cars, I recommend completing the bountiful seasonals and if completed, the Red Bull x2014 Standard Championship features a race at Fuji. Complete that race as many times as bearable with all assists on for quicker cash mining.

I don’t know about that, I think we’ve had some close races before. Also, I haven’t really gotten into GT6 since last summer. But yeah, Forgetful is properly quick

Yes, it’s ps3! GT6 is ps3 only.

if you’re really lacking cars to do the seasonals, cheat your way through the red bull challenges like a complete asshole and try to do the challenge I recommend in the post. Which I need to edit. The red bull race at Fuji in that challenge is the quickest to complete, which makes it the most lucrative out of the races available in there.

Same. Only games I play are GT6 and Kingdom Hearts. I bought a PS4 anyways via Amazon in January anticipating Kingdom Hearts, but got so screwed, a couple months later a nicer PS4 was announced. Which I need to know what exactly the new specs one does, seems just like a higher end PS4 preparing to be sold next to the standard one.

In the main menu, instead of visiting the manufacturers cars category, you'll visit the category for recommended cars.

Haha sorry I did so poorly. I played for a while earlier today but I was using cars that could turn. Lol it was a struggle with the viper. Plus having no mic is difficult. Either way, fun time playing!
